As my heart danced happily
My eyes blazed with excitement
I couldn’t wait to see the carpet green
The sweet sight of the natures mountain seed.

With the happiness of knowing
My direction would carry me
To where I should be
To a wonderful family I longed to see.
~~~~~~~~~~
But before I could stay for good
I cried and didn’t want to go home
I had to show all the strength that I could
For my path planned I didn’t have to go alone.

I was staring at the morning sun
As it peeked over the tip of a mountain
The beauty around me made me at ease
My travels would take me to Tennessee.
